Melt blown filter cartridges are an effective and cost-efficient solution for many filtration applications. In most cases, the inner core of the meltblown filter cartridge is made of polypropylene. Other materials may include nylon or cellulose. Customizable options based on application and needs include lengths, micron ratings and O-ring variations. These options may also depend on the cartridge housing used.
Meltblown filter cartridges are made of polymer fibers that are pressed and sintered, and then meltblown onto a rotating shaft to form a cylindrical filter element. These filters are commonly used in sediment applications, but they do not transfer any sediment taste or odor to the filtered liquid.
